Since 2000, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Founder's Letter
Aloha All!
As the founder of Pink Belles for Girls, I welcome everyone to explore our website and get to know our purpose, vision and mission for girls ages 13-21.
As long as I could remember, my father had a passion for supporting the less fortunate. My father was not a wealthy man, however was able to provide for his family and always placed others before himself. He was the one individual that everyone could count on if ever in need. He always came through whether he had it or not. Most people may have heard the saying, "this is not enough", he "made it enough". Whenever he passes you by walking or by wheel-chair he always greeted you with his handsome spirit and infectious smile.
Because of his unconditional love for me, I grew to know that my heavenly father loved me as well. I knew God resided in his heart and soul because he helped some many people in need. Friends and family all knew they had someone that they can call and depend on, Harold. His love, patience, and kindness were endless. The love and care he exemplified helped shape my life and the lives of many more.
Every day of my life, I strive to make a conscious choice to be more like my father. To love others as God loves us and to help those in need. As a result of that effort, Pink Belles for Girls was established to honor the legacy of my father's passion and love as we strive to make a difference in the lives of the those in need. "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased, Hebrews 12:16.
Pink Belles for Girls will provide support programs to teenagers within a safe, faith-based, nurturing home environment. We will empower and equip teenage to live with dignity, self-respect and hope for their future. Special programs will be provided that include safety and personal development services to encourage progress towards independent living.
Today, we ask of you to please help support our vision and mission. We encourage you to join our efforts by becoming involved with Pink Belles for Girls, whether it is as an advocate of our services, a volunteer or a philanthropic donor. Teenage girls will forever be changed by the services we provide through your donations.
We believe that through God's grace and the support that we receive from our supporters, the future of our young teens and will be not only hopeful but inspiring as well!
